We’re reaching the end of another 4-H year and I hope you’ve had a great one!
New this year the application process has changed:
There are two application processes:
● 4-H Member Awards and Scholarships (below is required application steps)
⮚ Resume (follow template directions)
⮚ 1 essay answering the question “What do you hope to learn from this educational experience?
⮚ Education Experience Preference form
⮚ Recommendation from a 4-H adult volunteer
⮚ Complete an interview
● 4-H Project Based Awards (below is required steps)
⮚ Application form
⮚ Short essay answer questions on up to 2 of your favorite projects
⮚ 4-H projects fair participation form
The 4-H Member Awards and Scholarships application process is for youth interested in receiving scholarships
to attend 4-H educational experiences (trips). The 4-H Project Based Awards are for youth seeking recognition
for their hard work on 4-H projects and fair participation.
Both applications are open to any 4-H youth entering grade 7 and up this fall.
There will be two workshops available for youth to get help with the application. These are Tuesday, August
29, 2023 from 2-3pm and Monday, September 11, 2023 from 5-6:30pm. Both workshops will be at the
Extension office in the Courthouse.
A short 10 minute interview is required for the 4-H Member Awards and Scholarship Application. These are scheduled for Monday, October 2nd between 5:00pm-8:00pm. I will contact you to schedule a time that works for you.

Applications are due on Wednesday, September 20, 2023. Interviews will be on Monday, October 2nd, 2023.
