QPR Suicide Prevention Training with Counseling on Access to Lethal Means (CALM) 5-21-26

We’ll discuss how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to implement the three simple steps to help save a life: Question, Persuade, and Refer. Then, we’ll explore why means matter and practice practical strategies for supporting people at risk, both before a crisis and during critical moments. This extended QPR workshop incorporates Counseling on Access to Lethal Means (CALM), an effective way to reduce suicide risk while respecting
personal autonomy.
