Spring 2022 Virtual Adult Mental Health First Aid

We invite you to participate in one of our Spring Virtual Adult Mental Health First Aid Classes on April 22nd, May 3rd, May 20th, or June 6th from 9 am to 3 pm. There is also a two-day training on June 29th & 30th from 12:30-3:30 pm.

Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders. This training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to get the appropriate care.

This is your last chance to guarantee your seat in a FREE virtual Mental Health First Aid workshop.  These full day trainings lead to a 3-year national certification in Mental Health First Aid. If you interact with adults who may be struggling with mental health challenges (1 in 5 do!), the Adult workshop may be for you.
As our MHFA statewide grant funding is nearing its end, these are likely our last free statewide virtual workshops for Adult and Youth Mental Health First Aid.  Classes do fill up quickly, so if you are interested in getting a seat in one of these free sessions, register soon!  And please, share this out with others who may be interested.
We will also continue to offer these workshops locally, both virtually and in-person, for free while funding lasts.  If you would like to arrange a workshop for your organization while funding lasts, please send an email to Tracy Henegar at tracy.henegar@wisc.edu.
